Mark Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service - Bridgewater on Apr. 14, 2024.
Mark O'hara Wright, 62, of Weyers Cave, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on April 18, 1961 and was a son of the late William David Wright, Sr., and mother, Margaret (Stoneburner) Wright, who survives.
Mark had worked as a Tradesman and was a man of many talents. He enjoyed being active, working with his hands, and helping people by giving anything he had. If he had $5 in his pocket, it was going to whoever he came across that day who could use a hand up. He believed you should always try to help others and remain free from judgment because we all walk in different shoes. Mark was an avid gardener with a green thumb that always had him planting for the enjoyment and benefit of friends and family. He loved the outdoors and being one with nature and he could be found hiking on his property almost daily. He was a music buff and found meaning and solace in music of all genres. Mark was devoted to his loyal dog Smokey, who will continue to live with Veronica and the family.
Mark is survived by three children, Veronica (Aaron) Wright Kelly, Fairan Horning, Hannah Horning, beloved canine companion, Smokey Bones Wright; Veronica's Mother, Peggy Kesner; three brothers, David (Candace) Wright, Raymond (Brenda) Wright, Joseph (Crystal) Wright; step-grandchildren, Tristan and Adalyn Kelly; sister-in-law, Rhonda Bradley; nephews, Nike Wright, Chase Bradley; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wright and Special Aunt, Betty Stoneburner.
A service celebrating Mark's life will be held between 5 PM and 7 PM, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at his residence. Friends may contact Veronica for further details.
