In memory of
Wendy (Mack) DeMarzo
January 20, 2017
Taci, I doubt you"ll remember me from Penfield High, but I remember you and how fondly Mark would speak of you. Mark and I had a serious relationship from about 1972 to 1975, but circumstances were such that a permanent relationship was not possible and I only recently returned to the Rochester area. I never saw Mark again, although we did correspond once shortly after your Mom's death, when I coincidently decided to return his Penfield High School ring. He had given it to me to keep, but so many years had passed, I thought he might like it back to perhaps give it to someone else special in his life. I was devastated upon discovering in 2014 that Mark had passed as I always held out hope that someday we would see each other again. He was a very special person and very dear to me; a gentle soul with the most wonderful laugh and smile. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. I still think of him frequently and mourn his passing, but rejoice in the short time we had together.

Tacy,
I just heard that Mark had passed away, I am so sorry for your loss. Lyn and I were good friends with Mark throughout our high school years and Mark and I entered the Army the same day. Although we were split up after our training at Fort Dix, we both ended up in Vietnam at the same time.
We will always have fond memories of Mark and his sense of humor. Our condolences to you and your family.
