Deacon Mark was an excellent Deacon and model person of faith. Over the course of time, when I met with him for various "formation" and other reasons, or mutual Diocesan meetings, I always found him to be a true professional and courteous, warm, and gentle human person.
I also admired the courage he had in the face of what was a horrible diagnosis of a rare cancerous disease.
May the good Lord embrace him with love and kindness, and lead him to eternal life, where he may rest in peace.

Mark was a very spiritual person to me. I have missed you both since you left Great Falls. My heart goes out to and your family for your loss. He was a wonderful man to get to know. Even though I would never eat turtle soup. He loved to talk about all his hunting experiences with his sons. He truly was a very great man.
