Marko Brigich, 91, of Chartiers Township, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, in the Canonsburg Hospital. He was born August 19, 1934, in Canonsburg, a son of Marko and Katherine Buyan Brigich. Mr. Brigich was a 1952 graduate of Chartiers High School. On October 5, 1957, he married the love of his life, Marilyn Bronco. Together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Marilyn passed away May 10, 2018. Proud of his Croatian heritage, he was a lifetime member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge #567 in Canonsburg, where he formerly served as vice president. He was honored as a 50-year member of the CFU and served as a delegate at several National Conventions. Marko was a member of the Cokeburg Kolo Club in the 1950s and traveled with his wife to perform. He was a Kolo King at Kennywood. As his children grew, he became actively involved in the parent group of the St. George Jr. Tamburitzans of Cokeburg and held the position of vice president for several years. With this group, he was able to travel all over the United States, Canada and in 2013 to Croatia. Marko and Marilyn were honored as Man and Woman of the Year of the Croatian Fraternal Union Four County Lodges in 1999. In the 1950s, he and his brothers owned Brigich Brothers Dairy and delivered milk to many residents in the Canonsburg area. Later he and his wife delivered eggs to the surrounding community.
