Marla Rose Bolt

Marla Rose Bolt, age 67, sadly passed away December 30, 2023 at her most recent home in Clinton Township. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on March 2, 1956 to the late Bobbie Bryan and Patricia Rose Hoban Bolt and into a family of six siblings altogether. Wife of deceased John Phillips, she became the mother of son Scott Phillips and daughter Mia Rose Phillips. Mia died too young but gave Marla a granddaughter, Taya Burton, and most recently she became great grandmother to Liliana Rose Christian, both of whom she loved dearly. Her death was preceded by her two brothers, Mark Bryan Bolt and Michael Edward Bolt. Marla's three remaining sisters, Marsha Bolt Squires, Melissa Bolt Wagner and Michelle Bolt Zirbel will miss her. Also grieving is her beloved best friend for many years, Marilyn Coker. She was a quiet but headstrong woman who loved her family, finding awesome jewelry, live rock and roll, fishing and her dog Rocko. We all are grateful she has found peace. May you find the best fishing hole in paradise.
