Marlee L. Defoe

Marlee Lynn Defoe "Ajibikokwe", age 14, went to be with her Uncle Donovyn Dupuis. Marlee will be deeply missed. Marlee was a fun-loving girl and also an animal lover. She loved to go fishing with her Grandma Shirley; sister, Kylee; and friend, Barb. She loved riding the side by side, and spending time with her buddy (cousin), Knoxx. She loved hanging out with her older siblings; especially going on walks to the park and watching scary movies. Marlee enjoyed hanging out with her mom, taking walks to the lake, shopping and making goofy videos. She enjoyed sharing the company of her dogs, Honey, Magnum, and Ajax.

Marlee is survived by her dad, Matt Hague; mom, Jamie Woollett; brother, Matthew Williams; sisters, Raeann (Ty) Lund, Mattison, Hailee, Nevaeh, and Kylee Defoe; step-sisters, Kierra and Kiana Defoe; step-brother, Louis Defoe; grandparents, Alice and Jeff Woollett, Shirley and Terry Bassett, and Gramma Cheryl Hague; Aunt Faryn; Uncles Kevin and Devyn Dupuis; Aunt Tami (Craig) Meseroll, Aunt Lauren; and cousins, Coby, Lilah, and many more cousins and friends.

A wake service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cloquet Community Center and will continue until the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025. Interment will be at Old Holy Family Cemetery in Cloquet. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet.
