Marlene Lenora Allan

Marlene was a very special person. She and her ex-husband John were special friends during my first years at Scott Air Base. John and I worked evenings at the hospital lab and a lot of nights after work I'd go over to their house and Marlene would have a nice meal waiting for us. We lost touch for a while and then found each other again just before my wedding. It was like we just took up where we left off and she and my then wife-to-be hit it off like they'd known each other forever. She pitched in and helped with the wedding like a member of the family. We will miss her and her friendship.
