Marlene H. Beyerl, 89, of Glenshaw, PA, passed away on January 23rd, 2024, peacefully with family by her side. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marlene, born in Etna, PA was a 1952 Graduate of St. May’s High School of Sharpsburg. After high school she worked as a secretary for her fathers’ company, Haas Sales and Service. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church, a long-time member of the Christian Mothers, and an active member of the North Hills Silver Sneakers. Marlene was a loving mother and grandmother who was known for her kindness and caring nature, attending to those that were ill and making weekly visits to nursing facilities. Marlene and her husband Merle celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary this past year. Marlene is survived by her husband Merle, their sons Merle (Donna), and Mark (Amy), her grandchildren Allison (Michaelangelo) DeJulio, Collin, Kristin, Austin, and Mia Beyerl. She had two step great grandchildren Blake and Adriana. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Loretta Haas, and her siblings; Lola, Roy (Mildred), Bobby (surviving Barb), Herbert (Eileen). Friends are welcome to celebrate Marlene’s life at Bock Funeral Home LTD, 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw on Sunday January 28th, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday January 29th at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Church, St. Matthews Parish. A Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Sharpsburg Cemetery.
