Marlene C. Breakwell

Marlene C. Breakwell, 92, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Mon Valley Care Center. A daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Szymansky Saitz, she was born in North Belle Vernon on July 13, 1932. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Marlene was a secretary in the Belle Vernon Area High School for many years, retiring in 1990. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and painting with water colors. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nanci and Michael Gordon of Brownsville, a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Kathy Breakwell of Monessen, two grandchildren, Brennan Breakwell and Dane Breakwell, both of Monessen, and a sister, Vickie Lukowiak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Breakwell on October 8, 2005 and a sister, Janet Maroney. There will be no public visitation and no funeral services.
