Marlene Bronson Obituary
As a young woman, Marlene moved to Seattle and worked in advertising. There she met and fell in love with Howard Bronson. They were married in 1975. Marlene and Howard moved back to Bellingham in 1987 to raise their family. With two children, Marlene was a devoted stay at home mother until 1999. Then she went back to work at the Holiday Inn Express where she moved up the ladder, eventually becoming the Sales Manager.
Marlene loved time at the lake and the beach and enjoyed traveling with Howard.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Howard Bronson; daughter Kelly (Mike) Villarreal; grandsons Colton, Lincoln, and Jude; son Derek Bronson; sister Kathy (Craig) Lind; brothers Mark (Kathy) Oiness and Steve Oiness.
A vibrant, happy person who loved children, Marlene will be sorely missed
Her final resting place is Bayview Cemetery, in Bellingham.
A Celebration of Marlene's Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00pm at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club, 3729 Meridian St, Bellingham, WA.
