With deep love and heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Marlene Crandall, who passed away at her home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on October 20, 2025, after a courageous ten-year battle with cancer.

Born on July 11, 1940, in Sweetwater, Texas, Marlene lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She married, Larry J. Crandall, and together they shared 65 beautiful years of marriage.

Marlene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harley and Ovarae Williams, and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Crandall, her daughter, Joyce Crandall, and her grandchildren, Rhiannon Fernandez, Sara Ramirez, and Keioni Melton and her great-grandchildren, Steven, Tyler, Selena, and Christian Fernandez; Alessa Melton, Haley Knighton, Emily Melton; and Leo Ramirez.

Marlene will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, and compassionate nature. She loved deeply and was loved deeply in return. She treasured her friends and treated everyone she met with genuine kindness and grace.

For over 40 years, Marlene was a deeply involved and much-loved member of the Grace Arts Theatre community. Over the decades, she poured her heart into the theatre in countless ways. Marlene could always be counted on to show up with a smile and helping hands. She had been part of Grace Arts since nearly its beginning, and her theatre family held a very special place in her heart.
