Marlene Cullember Obituary
Marlene Alice Cullember, Harrington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Bay Terrace Rehab and Healthcare Center, she was 85. Mrs. Cullember was born in Washington D.C. to the late, John and Catherine Phares Sr.
Mrs. Cullember was a book keeper for the Harrington American Legion Post CKRT #7. After the birth of her grandchildren, they became her life and she spent lots of time with Tyler and Shelby. Mrs. Cullember was well known in her community and everyone called her "Mom". She was small in stature but mighty, easy going, fun loving, and enjoyed teasing others. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Cullember was a member of the Harrington Moose, and the Harrington American Legion.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John William "Bill" Cullember; brothers, John Phares Jr., Robert Phares, Jimmy Phares, Ducky Phares, and Tom Phares.
She is survived by her daughters, Monica (Wayde) Rash, Diana Malin, Theresa Episcopo; son in law, Scott Riesinger; brother, Billy Phares; grandchildren, Tyler, Shelby, Ricky.
A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 12 noon, with a visitation starting at 11 AM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE.
