Marlene Lambert Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 15, 2025.
Marlene Carmella Lambert, age 90 of Marion, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 at her home. She was born on October 25, 1934, in Staten Island, NY, the daughter of the late Patrick Francis and Mafalda Marie (Pagliarulo) Driscoll.

Marlene lived a life filled with creativity, compassion, and quiet strength. A lifelong learner and educator, Marlene earned her Master's degree and spent time in the classroom guiding young minds. But her greatest calling was through her art. A gifted and passionate artist, she owned and operated her own studio, where she created and sold artwork.

Marlene had many passions, and each reflected her loving spirit. She was an exceptional cook who brought family together around the table with her delicious meals. She adored animals - especially her beloved cats and dogs - and cared for them with the same tenderness she extended to everyone in her life. Above all, she was an especially proud grandmother and great-grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her growing family; her love will live on in the generations she helped shape.

She is survived by her son Gregory Lambert; daughters-in-law: Carolyn Lambert and Terrie Lambert; grandchildren: Nicholas (Ashley) Lambert, Nathan (Sarah) Lambert, Kaylyn (Dan) Barth, Michael (Amy) Stewart, Rick (Tracy) Stewart, and Patrick Lambert; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Lambert, Sr.; children: William J. Lambert, Jr., Patricia Stewart, David Lambert, and Mark Lambert; and her brother Gregory Driscoll.

A private family service will be held in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marion County Humane Society in Marlene's name.
