Marlene is a great person. She tried all as part of the family. Even after I left the family. She love my son Phillip as one of her own. When ever she pick up Sheldon to take him camping or ride in her car or overnight. To her they were equals.
Sheldon was and always be the light in her eyes. But she loved all her grandchildren as equal.
But what brought me to tears when she invite Doug and myself to her wedding to Artie. She wanted me their because I will be her daught in law and part of the family.
I worked with her at New London Hos. She would help all younger people there. From listen how hard we were having in school to family life..
To me I will alway think of her as my mom. Because to me she was..

Russell and I were saddened to hear of Marlene's passing. We remember her fine cooking and enthusiasm working with us at Foxchase. I was glad to hear from Artie that they had a wonderful time in Virginia with family last summer. I wonder, too, if there is bingo or lotto in heaven? Our love and thoughts are with you all.Russell and Dee Currier
