Marlene's daughter, Julie Herrold, is my sister-in-law. Over the past few months we have shared many a text and phone call in reference to the journey her Mom was on with trying to manage daily pain and physically deteriorating, knowing the end was near. Marlene having physical pain and Julie mental grief. If one lives to be in their 90's, that is a long life but their children are never ready, no matter how much you to try to prepare, to lose them. My husband, Richard Herrold, and I shared many Thanksgivings at Harvey and Alice Herrold's home. Marlene made the best green bean casserole and lemon pie and would bring to share with all of us. She will be missed. I pray that the good Lord will send a Guardian Angel to help them with their grief. God Bless all her loved ones and help them to focus on the countless good memories.

With Love - Richard & Nancy Herrold
