Marlene Ann Litzelman Pardoe, age 77, of Elkland Township, Sullivan Co., PA, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Eden Brook South Rehabilitation Facility in Williamsport, PA.
Marlene was born, September 16, 1948, the daughter of the late George Anthony and Loretta Fanny Prichard Litzelman. She attended St. Basil’s High School. She married the love of her life, John A. Pardoe on October 12, 1968, and they enjoyed 36 years of marriage before John passed away on April 24, 2005.
Marlene and John, along with James and Dottie Pardoe, operated Pardoe Brothers farm for 33 years until they retired. Marlene also worked as a dietary aid at the Darway Nursing Home for a number of years.
She enjoyed her pets, flowers, and crafts. She also enjoyed baking, candy making, and walking in the outdoors. She attended the Millview Wesleyan Church and enjoyed being involved with different church functions. However her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary Jane Trasco, Laporte, PA
Brothers and sisters-in-law:
Donald and Shirley Litzelman, Dushore, PA
Gordon and Sandy Litzelman Dushore, PA
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and sisters-in-law.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her twin brothers: George Raymond Litzelman and Gerald Gabriel Litzelman, a brother, Bernard Charles Litzelman, and a sister, Marie Broschart.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Ed Ross, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Shunk, PA, at a later date.
Family and Friends may call on Friday afternoon, October 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM until the start of the service at 3:00 PM in the Homer Funeral Home, Dushore, PA.
Memorial contributions in Marlene’s memory may be made to the Eldredsville Fire Company, c/o Mariah Fowler, 402 Rt. 4007, Forksville, PA 18616
