Marlene J. Richardson, 87, of Grand Island, NE, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island. Daniel Naranjo will officiate. Livestreaming will be available at www.giallfaiths.com.
Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in Whiting City Cemetery, Whiting, IA. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
Marlene was born on July 22, 1938, in Onawa, IA, the daughter of Fred and Evelyn (Lund) Reed. She graduated from high school in Onawa, IA, in 1956 and then attended Cosmetology School.
Marlene was united in marriage to Thomas Richardson on September 9, 1957. She enjoyed golfing with her husband, Tom, and landscaping around their home.
Marlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great sister. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Onawa, IA.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Michelle Kohlhof of Grand Island, NE; grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane (Reed) Opland of Grimes, IA; and a brother, John Reed of Norfolk, NE.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Richardson; daughter, Cheryl (Richardson) Archer; her parents, Fred and Evelyn Reed; sister, JoAnne (Reed) Archibald; and a brother, Charles Reed.
