Marlene Spencer, age 77 of Naples died May 13, 2011 at her residence. Formerly of Indiana, she had lived here since 1997 and was an active member of Marco Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Marlene is survived her husband, Walter D. Spencer, her children, Martin L. Huff of Boonton. NJ, Marcia G. Huff, Naples, and Marc D. Huff of Evansville, IN., and step-children, Bobbie E. Spencer of Naples, Timothy D. Spencer and Donna R. Carpenter, both of Winter Haven, FL., Kim Gimbutas of Wilmington, DE, and Daun Halladay of Westchester, PA. Marlene is also survived by five grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, one great grandchild, and 5 step great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Monday, May 16 at 2:00pm at Marco Lutheran Church, 525 North Collier Blvd, Marco Island with Rev. Kevin Koenig, officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to Marco Lutheran Church or to the Alzheimers Support Network, 660 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 21, Naples, FL 34102
