Marlene A. Stephenson, age 75 of Celina, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at Van Crest Nursing Home in St. Marys. She was born the daughter of the late Arlington and Florentine (Evers) Rose on September 4, 1950 in Coldwater. Marlene is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law Jorge (Stacy) Stephenson of Massachusetts, Mark Stephenson of Minnesota, one grandson Spencer Stephenson of Massachusetts. She is also survived by her siblings; Lois (Don) Baumer of Minster, Dave (Chris) Rose of Wooster, Larry Rose of Celina, and sister-in-law Teresa Rose of Celina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Rick Rose.

She graduated from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church High School with the Class of 1968. The graduated from the Dayton School of Practical Nursing, working at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Industrial Nurse Copeland in Sidney, New Idea in Coldwater, and retired as an LPN from the Celina Manor.

She was a life member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She enjoyed crafting, doing puzzles, making diamond art and loved eating with her friends and going on bus trips. She loved helping take care of her niece Emily.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. James Seibert officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, and on Friday from 9:00a.m. until 10:00a.m. at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County. Condolences may be shared with the Stephenson family on-line at LehmanDzendzelFH.com.
