Eva Marlene Morris Wagner was born on March 27, 1937 on the family farm in Adams County Ohio, the 13th child born to Harry E. and Esta Ayers Morris and passed away on Nov.1, 2022 at  Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio at the age of 85 years.  She was united in marriage to John E. (Jack) Wagner on June 11, 1960. Most of their married life they lived in the Westchester, Oh area until Jack’s passing on March 10, 2014.  Marlene continued to live in the family home until the last 2 months when she was hospitalized until she was moved to hospice. They were the parents of three children: Shawn Wagner, Tracie Wagner Angst, and Brian Wagner.

Marlene worked at Western Southern and after taking time off to raise a family went to work at General Motors plant in Moraine Ohio from where she retired.  She enjoyed traveling, doing jigsaw puzzles with kids and grandkids, meeting family members for lunch and most of all her Saturday morning family phone calls.  When her older brother Bert passed away she resumed his Saturday morning calling to their brothers and sisters and children of siblings who had passed were also included.  She was extremely faithful with these calls which could last a couple of hours.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, 6 brothers David, Paul, Bearse, Dale, Bert, and Charles and 3 sisters Genevieve, Audrey and Ann.  She is survived by her brothers Floyd(Anne) Morris of Russellville, OH and Ron(Liz)Morris of Pompano Beach FL and sisters Thelma Wright of Mason and Freda Henke of Loveland, and sister-in-law Nancy Corns and brother-in-law Dan Wagner.  Also surviving are her children son Shawn and Tami Wagner of Auburn, GA and their children Hannah, Collin, Delaney, and Zane, daughter Tracie and Charles Angst of Liberty Township and daughters Gabrielle and Gretchen, and son Brian and Cory Wagner of Westchester and their children Matthew, Zachary and Madison and her great grandchildren Micah, Kai and Nora and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all.
