She was a very kind and caring person. When my Dad passed away a few years ago, (Bob Romano), she consoled my Mom and was so helpful even from the other side of the country. I also remember her being a rock for my Aunt Linda when she lost her husband. But the best memories were the summer family gatherings at my Uncle Frank Colettis house. We would all be laughing at her Dad, my Uncle Jules in the pool with the huge cigar in his mouth. She thought it was hilarious.

Marlyn was a dear, beautiful soul and a beloved friend to our family.
We are grateful she was a part of our lives.
Her kindness and loving spirit will live on in our hearts.
...She was a gift to this world.

Marlyn has been on my mind so much over the past few months. My Mom (Jane Griglak Wilson) met Marlyn at Jefferson where they were nurses. I spent countless weeks over the next 40+ years at LBI eating Marlyn's sauce and crabbies. Some of the best memories of my child and adulthood. My thoughts are with your family. I hope you know what a special place you had in my family's heart.

I was saddened to hear of Marlyn´s passing! She was my mentor for working in the newborn nursery when i first came to Jefferson! She was always kind and very professional! We worked together side by side which made it difficult for the rest of the staff who kept getting Marlyn and Marilyn names mixed! I will remember her with great admiration and fondness!

Marlyn was a valued member of our staff who became such a treasured friend over the years we worked together.
I know that Marlyn´s faith was a very important part of her life and knowing that she is now in God´s loving care helps ease the sadness that many of us are feeling.

It has been a privilege to have Marlyn in our lives. This picture represents many years of being Jefferson nurses. Marlyn came into our lives as our Jeff clinical instructor in freshman year. I was the class of 1975, Ish was 1976 and BettyAnne was 1978. She then became our colleague and friend as we worked through many shifts on Jefferson Maternity floor. Marlyn was our calming mentor and coworker. She shared her wisdom, support and sense of humor to all who were fortunate enough to work with her. Although our hearts are heavy with her loss, we are so happy to have our fabulous memories! Once a Jefferson nurse...always a Jefferson nurse!

Marlyn was a wonderful nursing instructor, colleague and most of all friend. Her calm demeanor and quiet sense of humor helped us become great Jefferson nurses. Our hearts are heavy with sadness but grateful with memories.
