Marlys Elvick Obituary
Marlys Elaine Elvick, age 85, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Society in Lakota, ND on August 2, 2025.
Marlys Elaine Hietala was born November 1, 1939, Brocket, ND the eldest child of three children, to her proud parents, Roy Clarence Hietala and Lillian Marie Hietala. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Hietala. She is survived by her only sister, Beverly Walford of Lakota, ND and her children Caden Elvick (Rocklin CA), Gregory Elvick (Lakota, ND), Janna Ruth (Applegate, CA), Timothy Elvick (Auburn, CA) and Peter Elvick (Cameron Park, CA), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Aaker Funeral Home in Lakota on August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a burial service at 2:00 p.m. at Enterprise Finnish Cemetery, rural Brocket, ND.
