Oh my goodness - what a shock! I am so very grateful for all the wonderful memories I have of both of you! Wouldn't trade them for anything!! It's been nearly a year since I last saw you guys and I am still struck by your inner beauty (that shows by the way, a lot!) and love. There is nothing I can say to ease your pain. I can only tell you how much of an impact you have made upon my life -- and I am so thankful for the friendship we share! Keep in touch and know that there is always a place for you to rest your head here in Houston if you ever decide to 'get away'! Hugs! (big Texas ones...) chris

Marlys,

I remember the time I asked you what your middle initial (M in MMM) stood for and you said MARVELOUS. You were right, you were marvelous. You always knew how to keep us in line with that calm voice, yet make us feel special about ourselves. That is what made you special. You will be missed dear - say hi to mom
