Marna Doris Brohm

Marna Doris Brohm was born on August 23, 1944 in Akron, Ohio. She spent her early life in California before moving to Guam during her high school years with her father. After she moved back to California she married Lorin Blackburn and shared thirty years of marriage and the birth of her only child, daughter Lori, before Lorin passed away. Marna worked for JC Penney. She enjoyed California, especially the San Francisco area, clamming and the outdoors. In 2003 she moved to Kissee Mills. She was blessed with a wonderful second marriage to Donald Brohm, enjoying life and love together for over thirteen years before his death.
Marna was a woman of faith and member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson. She loved staying active and being with others. She had taken two fun and memorable cross-country trips with her daughter. Marna was talented at crocheting and loved spending time at the Yarn Diva with friends. She was also a whiz at crossword puzzles and had a big heart for her dogs.
Marna passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents Christopher O'Brien and Margaret O'Brien, husbands Lorin and Donald and two sisters, Joan Chupp and Franny Parren.
Marna is survived by her daughter, Lori Blackburn of Kissee Mills; brothers, John O'Brien of Akron, OH, Michael O'Brien of Guam and her grandson, Justin Greenly of FL.
A celebration of Marna's life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
