I worked with Marsha ages ago at the Hilton Inn in Greentree. My own mother passed a few days before her and I am so sad to see that Marsha passed, as well. She was a no-nonsense gal and she never failed to make me smile. I'm sorry I lost touch...due to things on my side....love reading she had friends to support her.

I was heartbroken to learn of Marsha Zink´s passing. We had just exchanged messages after Mother´s Day and were hoping to plan lunch. Marsha was a thoughtful, loyal friend who never forgot a holiday and always checked in with a kind (and often sassy) text just to say hello.

We met in when I was the secretary at the apartment building where she lived. I used to put out a monthly newsletter, and Marsha would always stop by the office to tell me how much she enjoyed it-and maybe throw in a playful critique too. That´s how we became friends: through her warmth, humor, and that feisty spark that made her unforgettable.

She loved adult coloring books, and I´d send her new ones with markers for her birthday or Christmas. A few years ago, I gave her a crockpot, and she´d send me pictures every time she made something in it-proud to share her latest creation. And once, when I had to go to my husband´s work Christmas party, she surprised me with a handful of her sparkly festive blouses to borrow. I didn´t even ask-she just wanted to make sure I had something fun to wear. That was Marsha: generous, big-hearted, and always thinking of others.

And of course, I can still hear her saying, "Not Marsha with a C... and not Zink with a C either!" She had no patience for misspellings and made sure you knew it-with a grin.

Marsha was one of a kind-kind-hearted, sharp, funny, and full of life. I´ll miss her deeply and remember her always, with love and a smile.

My heartfelt condolences to her family and all who loved her.

My sympathies to the family. Marsha and I grew up together. Our families intertwined at many levels. She was a very kind person.
