Marshall Shore Obituary

Marshall Steven Shore

Marshall Steven Shore, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 38 from acute staphylococcal sepsis. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.

Marshall is survived by his devoted wife, Rebecca Shore; his cherished children, Evan (5) and Eliana (2); parents, Larry Shore and Clare Castiglia; sister, Jennifer Walsh; and brother, Daniel Shore.

He is remembered not only for his unwavering devotion as a father and spouse, but also for the way he pushed the boundaries of his family's patience, always striving to make every family experience vibrant and memorable, and lived to the fullest.

A proud graduate of the University of New Mexico Business School, Marshall built a successful career for 19 years at Nusenda Credit Union, where he was respected for his professional acumen, integrity, and mentorship. Marshall's commitment to his community was deep; he was an active volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico, St. Luke's Lutheran Church, the World Affairs Council, NAIOP Developing Leaders, and the Lobo Club.

Marshall loved hiking, camping, snowboarding, cooking for his family, tackling home renovation projects, attending Popejoy shows, and engaging in spirited philosophical debates with his wife. His happiest moments were spent with his children and wife cheering for the Lobos, and exploring new mountains and beaches.

A service celebrating Marshall's life will be held 10:00AM, January 10, 2026, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd. Additional information is found here: https://www.altogetherfuneral.com/

Marshall was someone I was truly grateful to have known for over 20 years. He had one of the calmest, most genuine demeanors I've ever known, and his smile had a way of bringing warmth to everyone around him. May Marshall rest in God's peace. He will be deeply missed by many, and his presence will not be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Claire, Larry and family.

I best knew Marshall from multifamily Super Bowl parties and barbecues that we were part of and graciously invited to. Marshall was always a joy and life of the party. I feel blessed to have known him and wish I had known him better.

My prayers are with Rebecca and the children.

I am numb and deeply saddened to hear of Marshall´s death. I´ll remember the love he had for his family when he would drop Evan and Eliana off at A Child´s Garden. A beautiful soul now in heaven.
Rebecca, Evan and Eliana my prayers are that you feel surrounded by love and that the memories give you joy and strength. Please reach out if you need anything.
Sending love and prayers

I´m so saddened to hear of Marshall's passing. I´ll always be grateful for the years we worked closely together and the friendship that came with it. From our frequent lunch outings and brewery visits to the many moments of laughter and shenanigans we somehow always found ourselves in, those memories will stay with me. Marshall brought humor, kindness, and a genuine sense of camaraderie to every day. My heartfelt condolences to the Shore family and loved ones-may they find comfort in the many lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
