Martha Ann (Whitt) Allen, 74, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born on August 9, 1951, in Mitchell, Indiana.
Martha had a successful career in the insurance industry, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism. Outside of her work, she found her true joy by the shore, enjoying every moment spent at the beach with her family, making memories that would last a lifetime.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 58 years, Lester Allen. Martha's legacy continues through her daughters, Tracy Allen and Stacy Griffin (Gary Wayne), her grandson, Seth Griffin, her siblings, Elizabeth Anders (Kenny), Elaine Wagner, and Michael Whitt (Debbie), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Martha was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys (Ritchison) Wagner, and her sister, Allison Grove.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana and continue on Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, with cremation to follow according to Martha's wishes.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children or to the Shop with a Cop program (c/o Clarksville Police Dept., 1970 Broadway Street, Clarksville, IN 47129).
