Martha Ann Stepp Atkins, 76, of Spartanburg, died Friday, March 15, 2024. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on March 20, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Ruby Tweed Stepp and wife of the late Robert B. Atkins.

 

She retired from MEMC after 20 plus years of service, loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and crocheting clothing for them.

 

Surviving is her son, Robert B. Atkins, Jr., (April); daughters, Terri A. Lewis and Tammy A. Hunter (Steven); ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Billy Stepp; sister, Miriam O’Brien. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Crocker, Myrtle Moore and Ruby Ingle

 

Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 pm Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel conducted by the Rev. Joey Turner. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, PO Box 1582, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
