Martha Jean Beard

Alvarado ~ Martha Jean Beard, 79, went to be with our Lord Sunday, August 27, 2023, in Burleson, Texas.
Martha was born on October 12, 1943, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She was a beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edd Prince and Gladys Jennie Beard; her brothers, Leroy Wallis, Freddy Wallis, Eddie Joe Beard, George Dale Beard, and Leonard L. Beard; her sister, Darla Sue Bowyer; her sister-in-law's, Stella McClung and Diana Beard.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law's, Jean Beard, and Kathleen Beard; her nephews, David Wallis and wife Melissa, Jerrod Mowery and wife Shanna, Josh Bowyer, and Jeremy Bowyer and wife Sandra; her nieces, Roi Wallis, Kimberly Fisher, Brandie Smith and husband Bradley, Lori Thomas-Johnson and husband Troy, Kristi Flippin and husband Gary, Cynthia Meyers and husband Craig, Shannon Hergenrader and husband David, Stephanie Smith, and Jill Llewellyn; numerous great nephews and nieces, and a host of friends.
Graveside service is 11 AM Wednesday, September 6, at Lone Star Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
