Martha Brown Obituary

Martha Jane Brown, 99, of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Vermillion Convalescent Center. Born in Montezuma, Indiana on May 5, 1925, to Harry Welch and Matilda James Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack S. Brown, daughter and grandson Christine and Brett Brown, and 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Martha worked for the Ford dealership in Dana as well at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Clinton before she retired and just enjoyed her family. She attended Salem United Methodist Church. Surviving is her son David (Susan) Brown of Hillsdale, grandchildren Mark Brown, Laurie (Joe) Ellis and Kim (Kevin) McMahan and great-grandchildren Audrey, Hannah and Lauren Ellis, Gracie Brown, and Emalyn and Mason McMahan. Visitation will be at Brown-Mack Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 1: 00 – 3:00pm. Service at 3pm with Pastor Keith McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
