Martha Ann Eby

Martha Ann Eby, 93 years of age, of Dickson, TN, passed away March 17, 2024.

Martha was born July 3, 1930, in Fulton, KY, and was an only child, to the late, Charles William and Marie Ruby (Bradley) Gore.

She was a wonderful Christian lady, a faithful and loving wife for 73 ½ years; a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and a wonderful friend. Martha earned a bachelor’s degree in science and taught school in Metro Nashville for twelve years. She was a professional pianist, a beautiful singer and musician. Her most enjoyment came from her family, however she also enjoyed reading and crocheting. She will be deeply missed.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William and Marie Ruby Gore. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 73 ½ years, Paul J. Eby; four children, Jonathan (Jane) Eby, Susan (Michael) Blankenship, Jeffrey L. (Cyrisse R.) Eby, and Elizabeth (Frank) Blair; nine grandchildren, Justin, Cortni, Jared, Jenna, Kelli, Leiah, Leighton, Jacob, and Benjamin; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Michael B. Blankenship officiating. There will be a private, family burial following the funeral service.
