Martha Clutter Ermlich

Martha Clutter Ermlich went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 11, 2019 after a long and fierce battle with Parkinson's Disease after being diagnosed in November 2012. Martha was born on May 3, 1934 in Charleroi, PA to Frank and Helen (nee Nelson) Clutter. She met her husband, Ken, in 1950 while in high school. They married on August 24, 1957, the same year she graduated from Slippery Rock University. Martha began her first teaching job in PA at Connelsville High School in September of 1957. Martha and Ken came to Bay Village in 1975. She worked as the Dean of Students at Sawyer College of Business for over 15 years. Her further work in school Administration was with Christ the King College of Theology. She then worked with Ken as an Administrative Assistant in the Design/Build Exhibit Business before retiring to hone her gardening and golf skills. Martha did have her first Hole 'in' One on May 25, 1998 at the Country Club of Fox Meadow in hole #13, 112 yards with a 5 wood. Her real reward were her children Jane, Ken (Bridget) and Christiane (Mark) Heckathorn; and grandchildren Megan, Ryan and Michael Heckathorn.
