The Quakers have a term for one who is respected for their depth of character, wisdom, compassion and service to others. They are called 'weighty friends'. Martha fits that description. Martha and my husband were neighbors briefly in the GFMC residence. All who walk that path hold each others hand. My condolences to the Fields family.
