Grandma, I am sorry that I was not around more, especially these past few years that I have been living overseas. But I have amazing memories of a wonderful childhood with you and Grandpa, filled with "Friendship Tea"-parties, frog hunts at Salt Fork, apple pie at Thanksgiving, Fridays at Grandma's to play while mom did the grocery shopping. Truly golden memories, and I thank you for every one of them. :)

Mrs. Graff was such a wonderful lady! She and my mother were such great friends through probably 70 years or more! All the Dental Club gals are together now as well as the men....playing cards and laughing! I will always have very fond memories of her!

With Sincere Sympathy to all,

Patsy

Please let me offer my condolences in the passing of your mother.

I was a neighbor of Dr. and Mrs. Graff for 23 years on Allison Road in University Hts, (2 doors away). I rarely went out to cut the grass that your father did not walk over to chat a while. And your mom was always puttering in the garden.

When I think of your parents, two stories always come to mind and I repeat them often. It was late one Christmas Eve and their lights were still on. My husband was going to take a fruit basket to them and I told him, since their lights were still on, he should take it over then instead of the next morning, as we would be leaving too early to deliver it. When he walked in their home, your mother was peeling potatoes for dinner with the family the next day and your father was sitting in his chair smoking his pipe. It reminded us of a Norman Rockwell painting.

The second story is when I went to visit them at The Greens of Lyndhurst. Dr. Graff said to me, "Ellen, I have one thing to say to you." I asked him what it was. He said, "Don't live too long." Mrs. Graff said, "Now Eddie, that just depends".

They were the nicest couple and great neighbors for many, many years.
