Martha “Lynn” Johnson, age 65, of Snellville, Georgia, passed away on January 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lynn was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family more than anything. She cherished time spent together, especially playing cards and sharing laughter with those she loved. One of her greatest joys was being “Mom” and “Gida”, roles she embraced with her whole heart. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandson in the coming months, and her family finds comfort in knowing she will be watching over him from Heaven.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorie Johnson; her sister, Joan Mullinax; her grandchildren, Rebecca Adams & her husband Ashton Adams, Savannah Blalock, and Zachary Blalock; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Egbert Moore and Carrie Lee (Dyer) Moore, and her siblings, Phil Moore and Carolyn Diane (Moore) Kilgore.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a celebration of life service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Byrd & Flanagan Funeral Home, located at 288 Hurricane Shoals Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1029 Boyd Road, Suwanee, GA 30024.
Martha’s love, kindness, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and through all that loved her.
