Martha R. Macias, 94, passed away on March 16, 2025 at home in San Antonio, Texas.
Born in Durango, Mexico, she was a naturalized American citizen and a long-term Texas resident.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Albert, a USAF veteran, her son Earl, grandsons Christopher Macias and Timothy Rey, and four siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Rey, sons Carlos (Bonnie), and Joel (Lori), sister Belen Trevino, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She loved to knit, crochet, and make ceramic figurines. She would gift her creations to family and friends.
Visitation will be on March 27, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. El Paso, Texas, 79924.
Rosary will be held March 27, 2025 at 6 PM at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast.
Burial will take place on March 28, 2025 at 10 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas, 79916.
