Martha O. Mason

Martha Olga (Masarik) Mason, 98, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully at Concordia of Cabot on Monday, July 14, 2025. Martha was born Feb. 28, 1927, in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph and Mary (Talda) Masarik. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Martha was a devoted member of Guardian Angels Parish and Most Blessed Sacrament Church, serving as the president of the Ladies Guild and a participant in the Resurrection Choir. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially traditional Slovak foods passed down from her mother, teaching these skills to her children, nieces, and grandchildren. Martha is survived by her children, Gregory (Elaine) Mason, Mark Mason, Randall (Janice) Mason, and Linda (Gary) O'Brien; grandchildren, Michael Mason, Emily (Carl) Bridges, Christopher (Janelle) Mason, Alexander (Hannah) Mason, Daniel Manning, Alyssa (Matthew) Hillhouse, and August (Alyssa Taylor) Mason; great-grandchildren, Samwise Mason, Mason Bridges, Molly Mason, Vivienne Mason, Skye Hillhouse, and Declan Mason; former daughter-in-law, Pamela; brother Lawrence (Mary Ann) Masarik; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin E. Mason Jr., on April 21, 1979; grandson, Matthew Mason; brothers, Robert and John; twins, Joseph and August (in infancy); sisters, Valerie Mitchell, Sophie Kramarik, and Mary Ann Misutka; and special spouses of her siblings. Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025, at CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2025, at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Burial will follow in Mt.
