We lose another Henry Street original. I remember Martha as a strong person who had to deal with more than most. Five years my junior, but I remember her so clearly. She taught me compassion and was my first experience with someone dealing with a challenge.
Martha was part of the Henry Street experience - a time I recall so clearly. My wife Ilona and I offer our sincere condolences.

dear Ken MarGuerite and all the family. I was so sad to read of Martha's passing. it was like a walk down memory lane living on Henry St with you. having lost my brither Tom and my sister Clare, I know the pain you are going through. you have my sincerest sympathy.

I am heartbroken to read about Martha's passing. I worked with her back in the 80's and she was such a wonderful sweet woman.
She will be missed by many.
