Martha Merck Obituary

Born in Pendleton, she was the daughter of the late B.W. "Bill" and Lucy Frances Ward Swaney. She was an avid gardener and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Chuck Merck and Rodney Merck; six grandchildren, Damon, Jason, Misty, Nicola, Justin, and Summer; 13 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ellen Young; grandson Chase Merck; and 12 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Foster. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to the service. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

So sorry for your family´s loss, Martha was one of the sweetest people I´ve ever known. She will be missed by all who´ve ever met her.
