As as the new director of the Dodge City Community College Foundation, I was hopeful that I could meet Betty as I've heard so many wonderful things about her from colleagues. However, those wonderful stories...the scholarships for students in journalism, her instrumental help with the college's first capital campaign, her generosity and dedication to the Depot Theater Company...all make me smile at her philanthropy and passion to help make the world a better place. She touched so many lives in Dodge City! On behalf of the DC3 Foundation and her Dodge City Community College family, I extend our deepest sympathies to all of her family and friends.

Martha, Suzanne, Howard-
Betty was a most reliable and loyal friend of the Warshaw family. She always arrived at the door with a gift and card for Dona on her birthday, on Mothers' Day, and at Christmas. And a card mailed to me on my birthdays. How kind and caring she was. One of the best and last of that great generation. She and Dona were born the same year. I will miss stopping by to visit her on return trips to Dodge City. Very much. Sincere condolences.
