Martha Roeth was born on November 10, 1951 at McLaren Hospital in Flint, Michigan to Ernest Ward Clark and Virginia Inez Maier. She grew up in the Flint area and moved to Glen Arbor, Michigan at 11 and graduated from Glen Lake Community Schools in 1969 and NMC in Traverse City in 1972.
Marti married Terry Roeth from Dubuque, IA in December 1971 and were married for 53 years. Their son Timothy was born in June of 1978. Marti was very proud of Tim and his wife Amanda and their family.
Marti did in home Daycare for 20+ years and was a long time crafter with knitting, crocheting, and card making.
Surviving Marti is her husband; Terry, son; Tim (Amanda) Roeth, 4 grandchildren; Seth Roeth, Madalynn Stolcenburg, Sydney Roeth of Charlevoix, Cassidy Russell of Engadine, and a sister; Susan Gibson of Asheville, NC.
Preceding her in death are her parents, a brother; Jim Clark, and step-father; Jack Gee.
