Happy 75th Birthday to you, Marty. You always struck us as a young soul, at least 25 years younger than your cronological age. We selfishly miss your presence with us. We miss your music, your laugh, compassion for others and for all the animals that seemed to find you just in time for you to save them. We love you, Marty! Happy Birthday to YOU! Love, Jenny & Grady

Three years have passed since Marty went to be with Jesus. Tony Papa, who introduced me to Marty, passed on November 9th, 2021. Jenny and I went to his celebration of life to say thank you for introducing me to Marty. Marty made a big positive impact on my life, Jenny's life and the lives of countless others. We miss Marty and love her very much! Here's a tribute hymn for Marty..."Because He lives, we can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know, He holds the future, life is worth the living just because He lives! A-Men!

We miss Marty very much. Often in our thoughts over the past year, we find ourselves saying, "Marty would love this!" Marty was among the most passionate and compassionate people we have ever known. Her memory will be eternal.
Much love to those who also miss the love Marty poured out onto you.

So sad to learn of Marty's passing. My late husband, Norman Green & I visited with her mother Lesslye in her lovely home there in Lenoir City many years ago. We visited several times & met Marty & Carole. We, also, visited with Aunt Martha & Anna Cline on these visits. They were ALL VERY GRACIOUS to us. Norman grew up in Lenoir City until he was 17 when his mother, Louise relocated to Maryland. Norman is the son of their brother, Avery Mills. My SINCERE SYMPATHIES to the entire family in this loss!!

Marty was an amazingly loving spirit who intensely loved the people in her life. I met Marty through Real Estate Broker, Tony Papa 15 years ago. In that time, Marty consistently set an example for balancing her love of her family, the love of music through performing with the East Tennessee Concert Band and with church services, the love of helping her real estate clients, the love of being in God's beautiful outdoors, and having great friends in her life. Joy emanated from Marty whenever she was with or was speaking about her fine sons, and her grandchildren, Natalia and Dominic. In fact, my vivid memory of Marty will always be about her infectious laugh, brilliant smile and generously helpful and sharing spirit. Marty rescued more dogs than anyone I know and a few lost people to boot. We love you, Marty!! Your spirit and example will always live deep in our memories and in our hearts! Thank you for amazing family and for your example of loving, helping, giving, sharing and caring! With Love forever, - Jenny and Grady

I'll always remember her kindness. She would always light up a room with an amazing smile and contagious laugh.

Hiking in the Smoky Mountains that Marty (and I) love so much.

Marty is one of my closest friends. There are no words to express the sadness I feel that I will never talk with her again or see that big, beautiful smile of hers, or hike with her in the woods. I miss her so much. I am here for you three, wonderful sons. Call me anytime. I love your mom and I love you.
