Martha Santini Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home - Sanford on Dec. 10, 2025.
Martha "Marcy" Odom Santini, age 70 of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 8, 2025.

She was born in Rocky Mount on November 11, 1955 to the late J.T. Odom and Mary Frances Haggard Odom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Thelma Goff and special uncles, Marvin, Clyde, Horace, Donald and Clarence. Marcy spent 40 wonderful years in Marathon, Florida before settling in Sanford, North Carolina in 2005. For 54 years, she worked in the banking industry, where her warm smile and genuine care turned customers into lifelong friends. She was known not only for her professionalism, but for the personal connections she formed-always ready with a listening ear, and helpful guidance. A firm believer in giving back to her community and church, she generously devoted her time and talents to local causes and organizations. She was also an animal lover with a tender heart for all creatures. At home, she found joy in her many creative hobbies-quilting, sewing, and crafting-pouring love into every project she made. Above all else, Marcy loved the Lord.

Marcy is survived by her husband Paul; brother Timothy Odom (Judy) of Daytona Beach, Florida; best friend Colleen Repetto of Marathon, Florida and many special cousins.

At Marcy's request, she will be laid to rest in a private service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption (CARA) P.O. Box 2642, Sanford, NC 27331.

Marcy always had a smile and was eager to start any new adventure you would think of, we spent many lunches together and I know she missed her Mother who she lost at at a young age. She will be spending Christmas in heaven with her parents, I can see her smile now!
