Martha (aunt Kate) Jean “Brown” Scott, age 76, passed away on August 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Saint Thomas in Sparta, TN.
She was born April 3, 1948 to the late Arnold and Bessie Brown in Sparta, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise May, Erich May, Jeff May, Linda Young
She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Joel) Jones; brother, Tommy (Judy) Brown; sister, Zelma (Charles)Steward; special nieces and nephews, Lanny (Melissa) Selby, Brent Steward, Zayne Steward, Katelyn Brown, Emma Brown, Kim (Mike) Kinnaird, Stephanie Clark, Greg May, Annette (Reuben) Franco, Jack Franco, Lauren Franco, Robert (Heather) McLellan, Noah Sliger, Hannah Kinnaird, Michael Kinnaird, Holly (Drew) Wharton.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Black Oak Cemetery Fund 146 Geneva Shockley Rd, Sparta, TN 38583.
Arrangements:
Memorial service on Saturday September 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Black Oak Church Of God. Officiating will be Pastor James Collier.
