Miss Martha Ann Tinnell, age 70 Of Cumberland Furnace, TN passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at her home. She was born November 21, 1954, in Hurricane Mills, TN to Joseph and Mary Ellen Tinnell.
An avid Alabama Football fan, Martha was particularly passionate about cheering for the Crimson Tide, embodying the phrase "Roll Tide”. Her love for the team was a testament to her spirited approach to life, making game day a special occasion filled with joy and camaraderie.
Martha's affection for nature was evident in her beautiful garden, where she dedicated her time to nurturing a diverse array of flowers. This not only showcased her green thumb but also reflected her appreciation for the finer details of life. In addition to gardening, she enjoyed canning.
Martha’s heart was larger than life, and this was especially true for her two beloved dogs, Daisy and Lucy. They were more than just pets; they were her loyal companions who brought her immense joy and comfort.
As we remember Martha, we honor her zest for life, her deep love for family and friends, and her passion for the simple pleasures that brought her happiness. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her, making a lasting mark on our hearts.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Wednesday, March 19th and from 10:00am until service time Thursday, March 20th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Miss Tinnell will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl Hooper officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hurricane Mills.
