Martha "Sassy" Christine Toulis

Martha "Sassy" Christine Toulis, 84, of Clewiston, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on November 3rd, 2025.
Known to everyone simply as "Sassy," she had a smile that could light up any room and a personality to match. A true social butterfly, she never met a stranger - and she spent much of her life bringing people together, whether through her work as Executive Director of the Clewiston Chamber of Commerce or by lending a hand at the family restaurant where laughter and conversation always followed her.
Sassy loved the simple joys of life: cheering on her beloved Florida Gators, watching golf and tennis, and spending time with family and friends. She had a gift for making others feel seen, appreciated, and loved - a gift that will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Toulis; her son, Anthony Cole Toulis; her brother, Ronald Hare; and her parents, Louise and R.M. Hare Jr.
Sassy is survived by her devoted daughter, Allison Toulis; her loving brother, Bobby Hare III; and her cherished grandson, Brandon Cole Toulis - along with countless friends and community members whose lives she touched.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clewiston, Florida, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her beautiful life and the joy she brought to others.
Her warmth, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
