Martha Tucker

Martha Antoinette Inman Tucker, 74, of Pleasant Garden, formerly of Mount Airy, passed away at Clapps Nursing Center. She was born in Forsyth County on June 13, 1946, to the late Samuel Maurice and Hazel Martha Antionette Wolfe Inman. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She retired from Renfro Corporation in Mount Airy then later retired from AAA Storage in High Point as a manager. Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughter-in-law, Mike Tucker and wife Sharon, and Randall Tucker; one grandson, Jared Tucker; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Ruth Inman, Sharon Lambert and husband, Weldon, and Junior Moorefield. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Clinton Tucker; one brother, Samuel Morris Inman; and one sister-in-law, Vickie Moorefield. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Chamblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sulphur Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
