Martha Magalene West

Martha Magalene Cummins West, 80, widow of Rev. Don West, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born in Frankfort on August 25, 1945 to the late Samuel Thomas and Cora Lee Toles Cummins. She worked for Fruit of the Loom as a Production Seamstress for 20 years. Martha was a beloved Pastors Wife for over 20 years; she was a member of Victory Chapel Church for her entire life. She loved going shopping; singing and reading her Bible; and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sharon W. King and Angie McGaughey (Chris); and her grandchildren, Emma King, Samuel King, Cameron Harrod (Katelyn), Cole Harrod (Jayden), Megan McGaughey, Devon McGaughey, and Laura Walker (John); her 5 great grandchildren with 1 more on the way; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband of 56 years, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Terry G. King; her 9 brothers, and her 4 sisters.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Bishop Tony Andrade and Rev. Dan Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Chris McGaughey, Lloyd Doss, Daniel Doss, Samuel King, Cameron Harrod, and Devon McGaughey. Honorary casketbearers will be Emma King and Cole Harrod. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators or Victory Chapel Church.
