I like to think that I helped contribute to Martin's love for extreme sports from an early age. Like the time I took him for a top speed run on his go kart with the hair trigger throttle no suspension and sketchy brakes. Other say that I nearly broke his leg. Accounts may vary depending on who's telling the story.

So very sorry to learn of Martin's passing. I remember the bright, energetic kid he was. Always polite and friendly, he could hold a conversation with anyone - such a rare gift. My deepest condolences to your family.
