Martin A Atchley

Martin Atchley age 87 of Bryant, AL died Friday, November 28, 2025 at Crown Health Care. Funeral services are Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 12 Noon ET at Higdon Holiness Church with Bro. Edwin Spurgeon, Bro. Jody Gray, and Bro. Bradley Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 PM ET, Tuesday from 12 to 8 PM ET and 10 AM until service time on Wednesday. All visitations and services will be at the church.
Martin was born February 20, 1938 in Paint Rock Valley, AL to parents, Sydney and Victoria Little Atchley. He worked in the scrap recycling business for many years and was a faithful member of Higdon Holiness Church.
Survivors include children, Dianne Enoch, Debbie Tiffin(Charles), Donna Freeman(Verlon), Denise Ivey(Donald), David Atchley(Angie); daughter-in-law, Kim Atchley; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Anderson, Nancy Hutchins(James), Janice Baugh(Billy), Rebecca Baugh(Don); brothers, Hosea Atchley(Nella Mae), Tommy Atchley(Sally), Lawson Atchley; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean Atchley; son, Darrell Atchley; granddaughter, April Hines; great-granddaughter, Lexi White; infant sister, Janet Marie Atchley; sisters, Ida Mance, Kathleen Weddington, Lillian Flippo; and brother, Frank Atchley.
